Hi, I’m Georgia.
I started Soar to offer the kind of support I wish every family and every teacher could access.
I know how hard it can be to access support that is truly tailored and meaningful, especially with long waitlists and one-size-fits-all approaches. Teachers are often navigating increasingly complex needs without real-time support, while families are left trying to make sense of it all on their own.
With over 10 years’ experience supporting children and young people with diverse needs, I’ve worked across classrooms, homes, and specialist settings in Auckland, the UK, and the USA. I’m a trained teacher, trauma-informed, and bring a practical, relationship-first approach to behaviour and learning.
I’m also a mum, and I understand how overwhelming it can feel when something isn’t quite working, and you’re not sure what to do next. My goal is to make support feel clearer, more manageable, and genuinely helpful.
My Approach
At Soar, support is:
Connection-first – behaviour is understood, not just managed
Practical – strategies that work in real life, not just on paper
Individualised – every child is different, so support should be too
Clear and calm – no overwhelm, just focused next steps
Every child deserves support that sees who they are, not just what they do.
